Before you begin
To add a location, you must be an administrator with access to the Settings section. Ensure you have all necessary details for the location, including the name, address, and calendar information.Step 1: Add a location
- Navigate to Admin > Settings and select the Location tab.
- Click the Add Location button to open the Add Location form.
- In the Add Location form, enter the following fields:
- Name: Enter the name of the location.
- If the name already exists in the system, a message will appear:
- "A location with this name already exists." You will need to provide a unique name for the location.
- Address: Enter the full address of the location.
- City: Enter the city where the location is situated.
- State/Province: Enter the state or province name.
- Zip/Postal Code: Enter the zip or postal code for the location.
- Country: Select the country from the dropdown.
- Location Image: Optionally, upload an image of the location (e.g., map or photo).
- After entering the required details, click Next to proceed to the Calendar section.
Calendar Configuration
In the Calendar tab, you will need to:
- Choose a calendar from the Choose a Calendar dropdown. This calendar will be linked to the location.
Click Next to proceed to the Working Schedule tab.
Working Schedule Configuration
In the Working Schedule tab:
- Select the schedule that will apply to this location from the Schedule Name dropdown. This will associate a specific working schedule (e.g., "Onboard Meeting" or "Bi-Weekly Shift") with the location.
