Before you begin
- Ensure you have the necessary permissions to add or edit tax information for users.
- Have the required tax details ready, including tax codes, National Insurance numbers, and loan information.
Step 1:Access the user profile
- Navigate to the "My People" page from your main dashboard.
- Locate the user for whom you wish to add tax information.
- Click on the 3 dots (options menu) next to the user’s name.
- Select "Edit" to open the user profile.
Step 2:Add tax information
- In the user profile, click on the "Money" tab.
- Click on "Tax Information" to manage tax details.
- Click on the 3 dots (options menu) within the Tax Information section and select "Add Tax Information".
- Enter the following details:
- Tax Code (e.g., the employee's tax code).
- Calculation Method (e.g., cumulative, week 1/month 1).
- Financial Year (select the appropriate year).
- Employment Statement (select the user's employment status).
- National Insurance Number (e.g., NI number for the employee).
- National Insurance Category (e.g., category A, B).
- Student Loan (select if applicable).
- Post-Graduation Loan (select if applicable).
Step 3:Save the tax information
- After entering all the required details, click "Save" to add the tax information to the user’s profile.
- The updated tax information will now be saved and reflected in the system.

Yes, you can update and add multiple tax-related information as needed by following the same steps for each update.
2 . What if I entered the wrong tax code or NI number?
You can edit the tax details at any time by following the same process and selecting "Edit" instead of "Add".

Yes, you can delete tax information by clicking on the 3 dots and selecting "Delete".
