Before you begin
- Admins with the necessary permissions can customise the columns in the My People grid.
- The custom columns come from the user's profile information and can be added or rearranged as needed.
Step 1. Using the Column Filter to add custom columns
- In the My People section, locate the Column Filter button (usually near the top of the grid).
- Click on the Column Filter to view the available columns.
- By default, the grid will show standard columns like Name, Job Title, Department, etc.
- Below these default columns, you will see the available custom columns that can be added, which are based on the user profiles. These may include:
- Employee ID
- Manager
- Location
- Salary
- Employment Type, and more.
- Select the custom columns you want to add to the grid by ticking the checkboxes next to the column names.
- The selected columns will now appear in the grid.
Step 2. Rearranging columns
- After adding custom columns, you can rearrange them by dragging and dropping the columns into your desired order.
- Hover over the column header of the field you want to move.
- Click and hold the column header, then drag it to a new position in the grid.
- Release the column when it is in the correct position, and it will be reordered accordingly.
