Before you begin
- Roles with access:
- Super Admin: Can view all employees' data by default.
- Admin: Can access data based on permissions granted.
- Manager: Can view data for employees who report to them (both direct and indirect reports).
- Permissions needed:
- You must have the required access roles to view the Attendance Summary and download reports.
Step 1: Accessing the Attendance Summary
- Go to Team Attendance from the side navigation menu.
- Click on the Attendance Summary tab.
Step 2: Viewing the Attendance Stats
The Attendance Summary section provides detailed statistics such as:
- Today Stats:
- Total Employees: Displays the total number of employees.
- Early/On Time Arrival: Indicates the number of employees who arrived on time.
- Late Arrival: Shows the employees who arrived late.
- Not In Yet: Displays how many employees have not checked in yet.
- On Break: Shows employees currently on break.
- On Leave: Displays employees who are on leave.
- Holiday/Weekly Off: Indicates the number of employees on scheduled holidays or weekly off days.
- Attendance for Past Dates:
- Provides historical attendance data for a selected date range (e.g., March 15, 2025 – June 15, 2025).
- Shows key metrics such as Employee Present, Average Work Hours Spent, Average Late Arrival Time, and Total Attendance Discrepancies.

- Employee Present
- This metric shows the number of employees who are marked as present on the selected day.
- Calculation:
- Employee Present = Total Employees - Employees on Leave - Employees on Holiday/Weekly Off - Employees Not In Yet.
- This metric excludes employees who are not physically at work or have scheduled time off (e.g., leave, holiday).
- Average Work Hours Spent
- This metric calculates the average number of hours worked by employees during a specified period.
- Calculation:
- Average Work Hours Spent = Total Hours Worked by All Employees / Total Number of Employees Present.
- The total hours worked are derived from employee clock-in and clock-out times, minus any breaks taken.
- Average Late Arrival Time
- This metric calculates the average time employees arrived late. It is only applicable to employees who checked in after the scheduled start time.
- Calculation:
- Average Late Arrival Time = (Sum of Late Arrival Times of All Employees) / Total Number of Employees Who Arrived Late.
- Late arrival times are measured as the difference between the scheduled start time and the actual check-in time.
- Total Attendance Discrepancies
- This metric shows the total number of discrepancies related to attendance, such as early check-ins, late check-ins, missing clock-ins, or errors in work hour reporting.
- Calculation:
- Total Attendance Discrepancies = Count of all attendance discrepancies across employees.
- This can include discrepancies such as:
- Employees who clocked in earlier or later than the expected time.
- Missing clock-in/clock-out times.
- Mismatched break periods.
Date Filter:
The date filter allows you to specify a custom date range to view attendance data for that period.
Step 3:Downloading Attendance Reports
- To download the report, click the Download button located at the top-right corner.
- You can choose from different file formats, including PNG, SVG, JPEG, and PDF.
- Choose whether to download the full attendance summary or individual sections for a more detailed view.
