 HR admins can add, view, edit, and delete benefits within the Plumm platform. This allows for accurate, up-to-date benefit listings visible to employees.

Before you begin

  • Only users with HR Admin permissions can manage benefits in the platform.

Step 1. Search for a benefit

  1. Go to Benefits from the main dashboard
  2. Use the Search bar at the top
  3. Type in the benefit’s name, type, or description
  4. Results will automatically filter as you type

Step 2. Add a new benefit

  1. Go to Benefits
  2. Click Add Benefit in the top right
  3. Fill in all required fields:
    • Benefit Name
    • Eligibility Criteria
    • Description
    • Any other relevant details
  4. Click Save to create the benefit

Step 3. View benefit details

  1. Go to Benefits
  2. Find the benefit in the list or use the search
  3. Click View next to the benefit
  4. Review full benefit details in the modal or details page

Step 4. Edit a benefit

  1. Go to Benefits
  2. Find the benefit and click Edit
  3. Update the necessary fields
  4. Click Save to apply changes

Step 5. Delete a benefit

  1. Go to Benefits
  2. Find the benefit and click Delete
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted
    • Deleted benefits are permanently removed

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Can I restore a deleted benefit?

 No. Once a benefit is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Ensure accuracy before confirming deletion.
 

2 .  Who can add or edit benefits?

Only HR Admins or users with benefits management access can create or update benefits.


 

3.  Are changes visible to employees immediately?

 Yes. Once saved, any updates to benefits are instantly reflected in the employee portal.
 

 

4.  Can benefits have eligibility rules?

Yes. You can include eligibility notes when creating or editing a benefit to clarify who qualifies.
