Before you begin

 Make sure the Clock In widget is enabled in your dashboard settings.

Step 1. Add the Clock In widget to your dashboard

  1. Go to your user dashboard
  2. Click the settings icon (top right corner of the dashboard section)
  3. Find and select Clock In
  4. Click Preview and Save
  5. Click Add to Dashboard

Step 2.Clock in to start tracking hours

  1. Locate the Clock In widget on your dashboard
  2. Click the Clock In button
  3. The widget will begin tracking Effective Hours and Gross Hours
  4. Time and date of the clock-in will be recorded automatically

Step 3. Log project and task (optional)

  1. After clicking Clock In, a form appears
  2. Select a Project from the dropdown
  3. Choose a Task related to the selected project
  4. Optionally, enter a Comment
  5. Click Save to record the details

1. Can I clock in without selecting a project or task?

Yes, selecting a project or task is optional when clocking in.

2 . What is the difference between Effective Hours and Gross Hours?

Effective Hours represent time worked actively, while Gross Hours include all time from clock-in to clock-out.


 

3. Why can’t I see the Clock In widget?

If the widget isn’t visible, check if it’s enabled in your dashboard settings.
