Before you begin
To create and manage eSign templates, you must have the following permissions:
- Admin Role with access to the eSign module.
- You will need a PDF document to upload (max size: 5MB).
Step 1. Access the eSign module
- Navigate to the Admin section in the left-hand menu of Plumm.
- Select eSign from the options listed.
Step 2. Add a Template
- Click on the Add Template button located in the top-right corner of the page.
- Enter a title for your template (e.g., "Onboarding Document for Sign").
- Choose the roles involved (e.g., Employee, Candidate, Requester).
- Specify the sign order for each role.
- Upload the PDF document by clicking the Browse File button.
- After uploading, click Submit to proceed.
Step 3. Add Placeholder Fields
- Once the document is uploaded, a pop-up will appear for you to add placeholders.
- Add the required fields, such as signature, date, text, etc., to the appropriate sections of the document.
- After reviewing and confirming the placeholders, click Save.
Step 4. Finalise and Submit
- After adding placeholders, ensure that the template is ready for use by clicking Save As Draft or Save.
- The template is now available to be sent directly via the eSign module or used within the Hire module for signing.

1. Who can create eSign templates?
Only users with Admin access and permissions to the eSign module can create eSign templates.

You can upload PDF files only, with a maximum size of 5MB.
