Before you begin
To edit time off in Plumm, you must be a registered employee with an active Plumm account and have access to the Time Off module in your dashboard.
Step 1.Edit a Time-Off Request
- Log in to your Plumm account. Click on the 9-dot menu at the top-left corner of your dashboard and select Core.
- On the left-hand panel, look for My Time Off menu under the Time section.
- Click on the My Time Off menu, and you will be redirected to the My Time Off page.
- Click the three dots in the right corner to edit any specific time-off request.
- Policy: Choose the appropriate leave policy from the dropdown menu (e.g., Vacation for holidays, Sick Leave for medical absence, Comp Off for overtime compensation).
- Reason: Choose the appropriate reason from the dropdown menu.
- Choose your From and To Dates: Select the new start and end dates for your time off.
- Duration: Choose If You Are Applying for All Day / Morning / Afternoon / Custom Hours
- Optionally, add a note for your manager: Provide additional details, such as the reason for your leave or a coverage plan.
- Optionally, add an attachment if required: Attach any necessary documents (e.g., medical certificates, travel itineraries).
- Click Submit to send the request for manager approval.
Step 2.Track and Manage Your Requests
- On the left-hand panel, look for the My Time Off menu under the Time section.
- View the status of each request (e.g., Pending, Approved, Declined).
- Click on a request to view full details or cancel a pending request if needed.
- Use the calendar view to see your time-off history and upcoming approved leave.

1.Who can edit time off in Plumm?
Only employees with an active Plumm account and access to the Time Off module can edit time off. Contractors or external users may not have access to this feature.

If you cannot access the Time Off module, reach out to your system administrator or HR team. You may not have the necessary permissions.
6. Is my leave balance automatically updated?
Yes. Once a time-off request is approved, your available leave balance will be updated automatically based on your company’s accrual settings.
7. Can managers request time off too?
Yes. Managers can request time off the same way as employees. However, their approval process may vary depending on your organization’s hierarchy.
