Before you begin
To request time off in Plumm, you must be a registered employee with an active Plumm account and have access to the Time Off module in your dashboard.
Step 1.Submit a time-off request
- Navigate to Time > My Time Off
- Click Edit Time Off in the right corner three dot for the specific time of request
- Select the type of leave (e.g., Vacation, Sick Leave, Personal Day)
- Choose your start and end dates
- Chose if you are applying for all day / morning / afternoon
- Optionally, add a note for your manager (e.g., reason or coverage plan)
- Optionally , add an attachment if required
- Click Submit Request to send the request for manager approval.
Step 2.Track and manage your requests
- Go to Time > My Time Off
- View the status of each request (e.g., Pending, Approved, Declined)
- Click on a request to view full details or cancel a pending request if needed
- Use the calendar view to see your time-off history and upcoming approved leave.

1.Who can Edit time off in Plumm?
Only employees with an active Plumm account and access to the Time Off module can Edit time off. Contractors or external users may not have access to this feature.

5.What if I don’t see the Time Off option in my profile?
If you cannot access the Time Off module, reach out to your system administrator or HR team. You may not have the necessary permissions.
6.Is my leave balance automatically updated?
Yes. Once a time-off request is approved, your available leave balance will be updated automatically based on your company’s accrual settings.
7.Can managers request time off too?
Yes. Managers can request time off the same way as employees. However, their approval process may vary depending on your organization’s hierarchy.
