Before you begin
You must have the necessary permissions to reject candidates in the hiring pipeline. If you do not have these permissions, contact your system administrator to request access.Step 1. Create a New Email Template
- Ensure you have the required permissions to reject candidates.
- Log in to your Plumm account.
- Navigate to the "Hiring Pipeline" of the job posting.
- Locate the candidate you wish to reject in the pipeline.
Step 2: Reject the Candidate
- Click on the candidate’s card in the hiring pipeline or drag the candidate card to the "Reject" stage.
- A pop-up window will appear asking you to select a rejection reason from a list of predefined options.
- Optionally, add a comment providing further context for the rejection.
Step 3: Draft and Send Rejection Email
- After selecting the rejection reason and adding a comment, you will be directed to a page where you can choose whether to send an email to the candidate.
- If you choose to send the email, you can select whether to send it immediately or schedule it for later.
- Click "Generate" to generate the email automatically or "Draft" to customise the message.
- After reviewing the email, click "Send" or "Save" as appropriate.
Step 4: View Rejection Details
- After the rejection is processed, the candidate will be moved to the reject stage.
- The rejection reason and comments will be recorded in the candidate's activity tab.
- The rejection details will also be reflected in the candidate's report for future reference.
