Manage Shift Change Requests
Summary
Plumm allows employees to view, edit, or delete previously submitted shift change requests. You can track approval status, view notes, and take action directly from the “My Request” tab in the Rota section.

Before you begin
To manage shift change requests, you must:
- Have access to the Rota > My Request tab
- Be logged into your Plumm account
- Have submitted at least one shift change request
Step 1. View your submitted requests
- Go to Rota > My Request
- View your past and current shift change requests in a table format
- Shift Name
- From Date / To Date
- Request Date
- Notes
- Status (e.g., Approved, Pending, Declined)
You can also use the search bar or download icon to filter and export your requests.
Step 2. Edit a request
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to a request
- Select Edit
- In the Edit Shift Request form:
- Update From Date or To Date
- Select a different New Shift from the dropdown
- Modify the Note
- Update the Notify field to inform another manager or teammate
- Click Submit to save your changes
Step 3. Delete a request
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to a request
- Select Delete
- A confirmation box will appear
- Click Confirm to permanently delete the request
Note: This action cannot be undone.

1. Can I edit a request that is already approved or declined?
No. Only requests with a Pending status can be edited.2 . What happens after I delete a request?
The request is permanently removed from your record and will not be visible to managers.3. Can I change who gets notified after submitting the request?
Yes. When editing a pending request, you can update the Notify field.
4. What does the “Notes” column show?
Any comments or reasons you included while submitting the shift change request.5. Will I get notified after editing or deleting a request?
You may receive a system notification based on your organisation’s settings.
