Before you begin

  • You must have the appropriate admin access to configure payroll settings.

Step 1. Configure Email Payslips

  1. Go to the Payroll Settings section of the platform.
  2. Locate the "Email Payslips" setting.
  3. Toggle the setting to Enabled to allow payslips to be emailed to employees.
  4. Save changes.

Step 2. Set Release Type

  1. Find the "Release Type" option in the payroll settings.
  2. Choose Immediate if payslips should be released right after the payrun.
  3. If you prefer the release on the following day, select the appropriate option.
  4. Save changes.

Step 3. Set Day After Pay run (if applicable)

  1. If you selected a release type other than immediate, locate the "Day After Payrun" setting.
  2. Specify the day after the payrun for releasing payslips.
  3. Leave this field blank if the Immediate release option is chosen.
  4. Save changes.

Step 4. Configure Time Zone and Time Settings

  1. Go to the "Time Zone" setting in the payroll configuration.
  2. Select the appropriate time zone for payroll processing.
  3. If not using immediate release, set the specific time for the payrun release.
  4. Save changes.

Step 5. Enable Password Protection

  1. Locate the "Enable Password Protection" setting.
  2. Toggle to Enabled to add password protection to the payslips.
  3. Set your custom password in the "Password To Use" field.
  4. Save changes.

1.Can I disable email payslip delivery?

 Yes, you can disable email delivery by toggling the "Email Payslips" setting to Disabled.
 

2. What does 'Immediate' release type mean?

 When you select "Immediate," payslips are sent out as soon as the payrun is complete. If you select another option, they will be sent the following day or as per your specified release day.


3. What happens if I don't set a time for the payrun release?

 If you select the Immediate release type, no specific time is required. For other release types, you will need to specify a time.
