Before you begin

To schedule a screening, ensure you have the necessary permissions to move candidates between stages and schedule screenings. If you do not have the required access, contact your system administrator.

Step 1: Move the Candidate to the Screening Stage

  1. Log in to your Plumm account.
  2. Navigate to the "Hiring Pipeline" section and locate the candidate in the "Candidate" stage.
  3. Drag and drop the candidate's card into the "Screening" stage.
  4. Alternatively, click on the candidate’s card to open the action menu.

Step 2: Schedule the Screening

  1. On the candidate card, click the "Schedule Screening" button under the action menu.
  2. A form will appear where you need to fill in the following details:
    • Due Date: Set the date by which the screening must be completed.
    • Scorecard: Select the relevant scorecard for the screening process.
  3. Once the details are entered, click "Generate" to create an email notification for the candidate.
  4. After reviewing the email, click "Save" to schedule the screening. The candidate will be moved to the screening stage, and the screening details will be saved.

Step 3: Candidate Receives Screening Email

  1. Once the screening is scheduled, the candidate will receive an email with the details of the screening, including the due date and any relevant instructions.

1. How do I schedule a screening for a candidate?

You can schedule a screening by either dragging the candidate’s card to the "Screening" stage or by clicking the "Schedule Screening" button on the candidate’s card. After entering the due date and selecting a scorecard, you will generate and save the email.

Once you click "Save", the candidate is moved to the "Screening" stage, and the candidate will receive the screening email with all the details. The screening is officially scheduled.


 

5.Can I generate a template automatically?

 Yes, when creating a new template in the Email Template, you can click the Generate button to automatically generate a template based on the available fields. This email template can be selected while scheduling screening.
 

 

6.Can I reschedule the screening?

Yes, you can reschedule the screening if needed. Simply go to the candidate's profile in the "Screening" stage and click on the action button where you will see Reschedule Screening button that will help you to reschedule the same.
 

 

5.When will the candidate receive the screening email?

The candidate will receive the screening email immediately after you click "Save" and schedule the screening.
