Before you begin

  • To send an eSign template, you must have the Admin role with access to the eSign module.
  • The template should be in Ready status and have roles and placeholders set up.

Step 1. Access the eSign Template

  1. Navigate to the Admin section in the left-hand menu of Plumm.
  2. Select eSign from the options listed.
  3. Under the Templates tab, locate the template you want to send.

Step 2. Send the Template

  1. Click the Action button (represented by three dots) next to the template you want to send.
  2. From the dropdown menu, select the Send option.
  3. You will be taken to the Send Template for Signature screen.

Step 3. Confirm Details and Send

  1. On the Template tab, select the template you want to send.
  2. Under the Details tab, review and fill in the following fields:
    • Subject: Specify the subject of the email.
    • Email Body: Enter the message that will accompany the document (you can use placeholders).
    • Roles: Assign the correct roles (e.g., Candidate, Requester) and their respective details (name and email).
    • Reminder: Set a reminder if necessary for the signatories.
  3. After confirming the details, click Send to send the template for signatures.

1. Can I send the eSign template to multiple recipients?

Yes, you can assign multiple roles (e.g., Candidate, Requester) to the template and enter their respective email addresses to send the document to all required signatories.


2 . What happens once I click Send?

The template will be sent to the signatories, and they will receive an email with instructions to review and sign the document.


 

3. Can I edit the email content before sending?

Yes, you can customise the subject and email body in the Details tab before sending the template. You can also use placeholders for dynamic content


4. How do I know if the eSign template has been signed?

You will receive a notification when the document has been signed. You can also track the status of the signed document within the eSign module.


5. Can I resend the template if someone didn’t sign?

Yes, you can resend the template by selecting the Send option again, and you can also set a reminder for the signatory.
