Before you begin

  • You must be logged in with manager permissions to access the Team Time Off page and decline leave requests.
  • Only leave requests with a Pending status can be declined.

Step 1.Navigate to the "Team Time Off" Tab

  1. Log in to your Plumm account.
  2. Go to the "Time" section in your dashboard.
  3. Click on "Team Time Off" to view the leave requests submitted by your team members.

Step 2.Decline a Leave Request

  1. In the "Team Time Off" section, you'll see a list of leave requests.
  2. Use the dropdown menu to select your direct or indirect reportees.
  3. Find the leave request with a Pending status that you wish to decline.
  4. Click on the request to view the details.
  5. Select the "Decline" option to reject the leave request.
  6. A popup will appear, asking for the reason for the decline.
  7. Enter the reason in the provided text box.
  8. Click Submit to send the notification to the employee, letting them know their request has been declined along with the reason.

1.Can I decline any leave request?

You can only decline leave requests that are marked as Pending. Requests that have already been approved or declined cannot be declined again.

2 .Do I have to provide a reason for declining a request?

Yes, when declining a leave request, you are required to enter a reason. This will be sent as a notification to the employee for their reference.


3.What happens after I decline a request?

 Once you decline a leave request, the employee will receive a notification informing them of the decline and the reason provided.
 

 

4.Can I edit a declined request?

No, once a request is declined, it cannot be edited. If necessary, you can ask the employee to submit a new leave request.

5.Is there a way to view the status of all leave requests for my team?

Yes, by using the dropdown menu, you can view all leave requests for both your direct and indirect reportees, including those with Pending, Approved, or Declined statuses.
