Trainer Sign-Off for Course Completion

After a learner completes a course, trainers can provide a digital sign-off using a signature—either by drawing, uploading, typing, or using a previous saved sign. This confirms attendance and completion with trainer validation.

Before you begin

You must be listed as the trainer for the course and the learner must have completed it (100% progress). Sign-off must be done manually by the trainer.

Step 1. Open the completed course details

  1. Go to Reports > Team Progress
  2. Find the learner who completed the course
  3. Click on the learner’s row to open the Acknowledgement pop-up

Step 2.  Add your sign-off as the trainer

  1. Scroll to the Trainer’s Sign-off section
  2. Choose one of the three methods:
    • Draw: Use your mouse/stylus to sign
    • Image: Upload a JPEG/PNG (max 5MB)
    • Type: Type your name and it will generate a signature
  3. (Optional) Tick Use Previous Sign to reuse your last signature
  4. Tick the box: “I confirm that I have collected supporting evidence...”
  5. Click Save to finalise the sign-off

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Can any trainer sign off a course?

No. Only the trainer assigned to the course for that learner can give sign-off.


2. Is the trainer sign-off mandatory?

Yes, it is mandatory for full acknowledgement in certain compliance-based courses.


 3. What if I signed already—do I have to draw again?

No. You can tick Use Previous Sign to reuse your last saved signature.



 4. Can I change my sign-off later?

No. Once saved, the sign-off cannot be edited. Please contact support if changes are needed.


5. Where is this sign-off stored?

It is stored within the course record in the learner’s acknowledgement history and available in Reports.
