View and Manage My Attendance
Summary
The My Attendance section in PlumHR provides a calendar view of your daily attendance, work hours, leave status, and logs. You can clock in/out, request adjustments, raise regularisations, and track your total hours—all in one place.

Before you begin
You must:
- Be an active employee with access to the Attendance module
- Be assigned to an active attendance policy
- Have clock-in permissions enabled (Web or Mobile)
Step 1. Access My Attendance
- Click the 📅 My Attendance tab in the left menu
- Use the dropdown at the top to switch between Week or Month view
- Use the calendar arrows or date picker to view other months or weeks
Step 2. Understand attendance calendar labels
Each calendar tile shows your attendance status for that day:
- 🟩 Reg – Regular, fully logged
- 🟨 Late – Late arrival detected
- 🟥 Missing – No attendance data
- ⬜ No Logs – Day not worked/logged (e.g. weekend or off shift)
- 🟪 Leave / Partial Leave – Approved leave
- 🟦 W-OFF – Week Off
- 🩷 Holiday – Company holiday
- ⬛ AWOL – Absent without leave or attendance logs
- 🟧 Overtime – Approved extra hours
Step 3. View daily details and total hours
- Click any calendar date to view the right-hand panel
- You’ll see:
- Effective Hours (based on actual work)
- Break Time
- Gross Hours (total from clock in/out)
- Clock-in method: Web, Mobile, or Adjusted
- Above the calendar:
- Track Total Hours Today and Time Tracked for the selected week/month
- Compare against your scheduled target (e.g. 40h/week or 215h/month)
Step 4. Request an attendance adjustment
- Click on a date marked Missing, No Logs, or with incorrect hours
- In the right-hand panel, click the entry or Attendance Request
- Choose Add/update time entries to adjust attendance logs
- Enter:
- From and To time
- (Optional) Select a Project and Task
- Add a note if needed
- Click Submit
Step 5.Raise a regularisation request
- Select the same Attendance Request panel
- Choose Raise regularisation request to exempt this day
- Select the reason (e.g. System error, Power outage)
- Add a note for context
- Click Submit
🔔 If your company requires manager approval, requests will be routed for review automatically.
Step 6.Clock in manually (if enabled)
- If clock-in is not automated, click the red Clock In button at the top
- Choose a Project, Task, and optionally add a Comment
- Click Save
- Clock out using the same process when your shift ends
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Can I change my clock-in time after logging it?
Only through an attendance adjustment request, if allowed by your company policy.2 . Why is my attendance marked ‘AWOL’?
If you’ve missed logging attendance for a set number of consecutive days (as per policy), your status becomes AWOL.3. Is mobile clock-in available everywhere?
No. Your admin may enable geo-fencing, restricting clock-in to specific locations.
4. What’s the difference between ‘Missing’ and ‘No Logs’?
- Missing: You were expected to log attendance but didn’t
- No Logs: The day wasn’t expected to be worked (e.g. weekend or holiday)
5. Can I see which policy I’m assigned to?
Yes. Click the info icon on the top-right panel under “Attendance Policy” to view details like clock-in mode and approval rules.
