Before you begin
You must have access to the Leave module in order to view your leave balance on the dashboard.
Step 1. Understand the leave balance view
- On your User Dashboard, find the My Leave Balance widget
- The widget shows:
- Current Balance – Days of leave currently available
- Admin Adjustments – Any manual changes made by your HR/Admin team
- Days Taken – Total days of approved and used leave
- Carry Over – Unused leave from the previous cycle that has been carried into the current one
- The widget includes a tooltip explaining which leave types are included
Step 2. Access full leave history
- Click the View All link at the bottom of the widget
- You’ll be taken to the My Leave Balance page
- Here, you can:
- View your complete leave history
- Track how your balance has changed over time
- See upcoming or past approved leave

1. What does the My Leave Balance widget show?
It provides a summary of your leave situation, including current balance, any admin adjustments, days already taken, and carry-over from the previous year.
2 . Can I apply for leave from this widget?
No. Use the My Time Off widget or go to the Time Off section to request leave.
3. How are admin adjustments calculated?
These are manual changes made by your Admin or HR team to reflect additional leave granted or deductions outside of standard policy.
4. What does carry over mean?
It refers to unused leave from a previous cycle that has been carried forward into your current balance, as per company policy.
5. Why is my balance showing as zero?
Your balance may not be accrued yet, or your leave policy might not be assigned. Contact your HR team to check your leave settings.
6. What happens when I click View All?
You’ll be redirected to the full My Leave Balance page, where you can explore detailed records and leave calculations.
