Before you begin
To view the Attendance Calendar in Plumm, you must have an appropriate role with access to the Attendance Calendar module. Super Admin, Admin, and Manager roles allow different levels of access.
Step 1: View a user's attendance calendar
To access the Attendance Calendar feature, follow these steps:
- Click on the 9-dot menu at the top-left corner of your dashboard.
- Select Attendance from the menu.
- Under the Attendance section, click on Team Attendance > Attendance Calendar.
- Use the Select User dropdown to choose the employee whose attendance calendar you wish to view.
- Super Admin and Admin: Can see all users' calendars.
- Manager: Can only see the calendars of users who directly or indirectly report to them.
- Once the user is selected, the calendar will load, showing the employee’s attendance status for the month.
Step 2: Understand attendance statuses
Once the calendar is loaded, you will see the status for each day of the month.
Examples of Attendance Status:
- D-OFF (Day Off): A scheduled non-working day for the employee.
- Reg (Regularise): Attendance has been corrected or validated for the day.
- No Logs: No clock-in or clock-out records found.
- Late: Employee arrived after the scheduled start time.
- Missing: Expected to work, but no attendance data is available.
- Leave / Partial Leave: Approved leave for the full or part of the day.
- Holiday: Official company holiday; no work expected.
- AWOL: Absent without approved leave or attendance logs.
- Overtime: Extra working hours recorded and approved.
Step 3: Permissions and roles
- Super Admin: Can see all users' calendars by default.
- Admin: Also sees the attendance calendars of all users in the organization.
- Manager: Can only view the attendance calendars of users who report directly or indirectly to them.
Note: (The condition is that users must be assigned to an attendance policy)
