Add Assets in My Profile
Summary
Employees can view, add, edit, or delete their assigned work devices in Plumm. The Device section is only visible if Tech Add-ons are not enabled by your company.

Before you begin
To manage assigned devices, you must:
- Have a Plumm account
- Be able to access your profile
- Have permission to view or edit devices
- Ensure your company does not use Tech Add-ons (if Tech Add-ons are active, the Device section will not appear in profile)
Step 1. Open your profile
- Log in to your Plumm account
- Click your profile icon on the top-right of the dashboard
- In the pop-up, click Profile
- Your My Profile page will open
- Click on the Work tab (second tab)
- Scroll to the fourth section titled Device
Step 2. Add a device
- Hover over the Device section
- Click the three-dot icon (⋮) that appears
- Select Add Device
- Fill in the following fields in the pop-up:
- Device Type (multi-type of device)
- Device Name
- Serial Number
- Issued on
- Returned on
- Details
- Click Save
- The device will appear in your device list
- To add more devices, repeat the process
Step 3. Edit or delete a device
- Hover over the device in the grid
- Click the three-dot action button (⋮)
To edit:
- Select Edit
- Update the fields as needed
- Click Save
To delete:
- Select Delete
- Confirm the deletion
- The device will be removed from the list

1. Why don’t I see the Device section?
If your company uses Tech Add-ons, the Device section will not appear. You also need permission to view devices.2. Can I manage multiple devices?
3. What happens if I delete a device?
Deleted devices are permanently removed from your profile.
4. Who can edit or delete a device?
Only users with edit permissions can make changes to device records.
