 Plumm allows Superadmin, admin and managers to add and manage Company Goals, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overarching objectives and effectively tracking progress. By adding company-wide goals, managers can ensure all departments and teams are working toward the same strategic goals.

Step 1: Accessing the Company Goals Section

  1. Navigate to the Goals section from your dashboard.
  2. Click on the Company Goals tab to view the goals for your company.
  3. Here, you can see an overview of all company goals, including progress, deadlines, and ownership.
  4. You can also add new company goals from this page.

Step 2: Adding a New Company Goal

  1. Click the + Add Company Goal button on the top-right corner of the Company Goals page.
  2. You will be directed to the Add Company Goal page, where you need to fill in the following details:
    • Title: Provide a clear and descriptive title for the goal.
    • Description: Briefly describe the goal, including key areas of focus, desired outcomes, and purpose.
    • Use the text editor to format the description as needed, or click Generate to let Plumm help generate a description based on the context.

Step 3:Setting the Scheduling and Ownership for the Goal

  1. After filling in the Title and Description, proceed to the Scheduling tab.
  2. From Date and To Date: Select the start and end dates for the goal, which defines the duration within which the goal should be completed.
  3. Goal Type: Choose whether the goal is for the company or an individual team/department.
  4. Owner: Assign the owner of the goal (usually the manager or an executive).
  5. Department: Choose which department is responsible for the goal.
  6. Assigned To: Select the specific team members or individuals who will contribute to achieving the goal.

Step 4:Defining Objectives for the Goal

  1. After setting the schedule, proceed to the Objectives tab to define measurable objectives that will help track progress.
  2. Click + New Objective to add objectives for the goal.
  3. You can choose to:
    • Generate with AI: Let Plumm generate objectives based on the goal’s description and context.
    • Draft Your Own: Manually input specific and measurable objectives.
  4. Once objectives are added, these will serve as key milestones to track the goal’s progress. You can also Edit or Delete objectives if needed.

Step 5:Confirm and Save

Once all sections are completed, click Confirm to save your company goal.

1. How do I add a new Company Goal?

Click the + Add Company Goal button, fill in the goal details, set the schedule, assign ownership, and define measurable objectives.

2 . Can I assign a company goal to multiple departments?

Yes, you can assign the goal to multiple departments or teams by selecting them in the Assigned To section when adding or editing a goal.


 

3. What is the difference between a Company Goal and an Individual Goal?

A Company Goal is a broad goal set for the entire company, while an Individual Goal is assigned to a specific person or team.
 

 

4. Can I add multiple objectives for a single company goal?

Yes, you can add multiple objectives for each goal to break it down into smaller, measurable milestones.
 

 

5. Can I use AI to generate objectives for a company goal?

Yes, you can use the Generate with AI feature to automatically generate objectives based on the goal’s description.
 

 

6. What happens when the goal’s To Date is reached?

Once the goal’s deadline has passed, the status will update to reflect whether it was Completed, In Progress, or Not Achieved.
 

 
7. How do I edit or update an existing company goal?
 
Click on the company goal you wish to edit, make the necessary changes (e.g., update objectives, change due dates), and save the updates.
 


8. Can I delete a company goal?

Yes, you can delete a company goal by selecting it, clicking on the Delete option. Please note that this action is permanent.
