Before You Begin

  • You need to have access to the Goals section in PlummHR.
  • Make sure that you have a clear idea of the goal’s purpose, timeline, and the team or individual responsible for it.
  • Ensure that the necessary department or team members are set up in PlummHR.

Step 1: Accessing the Add My Goal Section

  • Click on the Nine-Dot Menu
  • On the left side of the page, click on the nine-dot menu (also called the "App Switcher"). This opens a list of available modules.
  • Select the Performance Tab
  • In the menu that appears, click on the Performance tab, which is designed to boost team performance and growth.
  • Access the Goal Module
  • Inside the Performance tab, you will find the Goal Module.
  1. Click on the + Add My Goal button located at the top-right of the page.
  2. You will be directed to the Add My Goal form where you can begin filling out the goal details.

Step 2: Adding a New Goal

  1. Goal Title:
    • Enter a clear and descriptive title for the goal to make it easy to identify.
  2. Description (Optional):
    • Provide a brief description explaining the goal’s context, purpose, and expected outcomes.
    • You can use the text editor to format the description (e.g., bold, italicize, or create lists).
    • Generate Description:
      • If you need help drafting the description, click the Generate button to automatically generate a description using AI.

Step 3: Setting Schedule and Ownership

  1. From Date and To Date:
    • Select the start and end dates for the goal. This helps set clear timeframes for completion.
  2. Goal Type:
    • Choose Individual or Team depending on whether the goal is for yourself or for a team.
  3. Owner:
    • The Owner is the person responsible for ensuring the goal is completed. Select the owner (this will likely be yourself or a team leader).
  4. Assigned To:
    • For team goals, select the team members who will work on the goal. For individual goals, this will be automatically assigned to you.

Step 4: Adding Objectives for the Goal

  1. After filling in the Details and Scheduling sections, move to the Objectives tab.
  2. Adding Objectives:
    • Click + New Objective to add measurable objectives for the goal.
    • Generate with AI:
      • You can use the AI feature to suggest objectives based on the goal’s description.
    • Draft Your Own:
      • You can manually input specific, measurable objectives for the goal.
  3. Save the Goal:
    • After adding the objectives, click Save to complete the goal creation.
    • You can also Edit or Delete objectives if needed later.
