Add Personal Summary to a User's Profile

This article explains how to add a Personal Summary in a user's profile on Plumm. It covers the permissions required for admins to add the Personal Summary and the fields to be filled.

Before you begin
Ensure you have the required permissions to add a user’s Personal Summary.
If an admin user has permission, only in this case they can add the Personal Summary; otherwise, they can only view the information.
Make sure you have the required details to update the Personal Summary, such as:
- Hobbies and Talents
- Special Needs
Step 1.Log in and navigate to User's Profile
- Log in to Plumm using a valid user account.
- Click on the 9-dot menu at the top left corner of your dashboard.
- Select Core from the menu.
- Under the People section, click on My People.
- Click on a user's name, and from there, you can go to the Team/People Profile section.
In the Personal Summary section, click on the three dots on the right-hand side.
Step 2. Add Personal Summary
Admin users who have the correct permissions can add the Personal Summary.
- If you have the required permissions, the option to Add Personal Summary will be available.
- If you do not have the necessary permissions, the information will only be in View mode.
Click on Add Personal Summary to add the details in the profile.
Fill in the requested details, such as:
- Hobbies and Talents
- Special Needs
- Other relevant information
There is no mandatory field in the Personal Summary section. Therefore, you can choose to save without adding any fields if needed.
Once you've added the desired information, click Save.

1.Who can add a Personal Summary in Plumm?
If an admin user has permission, only in this case they can add the Personal Summary. Otherwise, they can only view the information.
2 . What if I can't see the option to add a Personal Summary?
If you don’t have admin permissions, you will only see the information in View mode. You will need to contact an admin for permission to add a Personal Summary.
3. What information is required when adding a Personal Summary?
There are no mandatory fields in the Personal Summary section. You can add any of the requested details such as LinkedIn, Hobbies, Talents, Special Needs, etc.
