Before you begin
- Only users with admin permissions in the Attendance module can add, edit, or delete shifts.
- Ensure that you have access to the Attendance section from the Admin dashboard.
Step 1.Add a shift
- Navigate to Admin > Attendance.
- Click on the Add Shift button.
- In the form, enter the title of the shift.
- Add a description for the shift.
- Select the working schedule.
- Choose the shift type (Fixed or Flexible).
- Fixed: The shift times remain consistent every day of the week.
- Flexible: The shift times can vary each day (e.g., different start/end times for different days).
- Set Shift timings and Break duration for each day of the week (only available when flexible schedule is selected).

1. Who can add or modify shifts?
Only admins with the appropriate permissions in the Attendance module can add, edit, or delete shifts.
2.Can I set both fixed and flexible type of shift?
Yes, when adding a shift, you can select whether the shift is fixed or flexible.
3. How do I delete a shift?
To delete a shift, click the three dots next to the shift and select Delete from the options.
4. Is there any way to recover a deleted shift?
Currently, once a shift is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please proceed with caution when deleting shifts.
5. Can I change the shift type after saving it?
Yes, you can edit the shift type by following the steps in Step 2.
