Before you begin
- You need access to the Team Goals section in PlummHR, which is available to managers and team leaders.
- Make sure each team member has their goals set and assigned.
Step 1. Accessing the Team Goals Section
- Navigate to the Goals section from your dashboard.
- Click on the Team Goals tab to view the goals assigned to team members.
- Here, you can see an overview of goals, progress, and deadlines. You can also add new goals from this page.
Step 2. Adding a New Team Goal
- Click the + Add Goal button in the top right corner of the Team Goals page.
- You will be directed to the Add Team Goal page, where you need to fill in the following details:
- Title: Give the goal a clear and descriptive title.
- Description: Provide a brief description of the goal. This can include key focus areas, purpose, or desired outcomes.
- Use the text editor to format the description as needed.
Step 3. Setting the Scheduling and Ownership for the Goal
- After filling in the Title and Description, proceed to the Scheduling tab.
- From Date and To Date: Select the start and end dates for the goal. This defines the duration within which the goal should be achieved.
- Goal Type: Choose whether the goal is for an Individual or Team.
- Owner: Assign the owner of the goal (usually the manager or team leader).
- Assigned To: Select the team members or individuals who are responsible for achieving the goal.
Step 4. Defining Objectives for the Goal
- After scheduling, proceed to the Objectives tab to define measurable objectives for the goal.
- Click + New Objective to add objectives that will help track progress.
- You can choose to:
- Generate with AI: Let Plumm help create objectives using AI.
- Draft Your Own: Manually input objectives that are specific and measurable.
- Once objectives are added, these will serve as the checkpoints for tracking the goal's progress.
