Edit Assets in a User's Profile

Before you begin

  • Ensure you have the required permissions to edit Assets.
  • Only Admins with the correct permissions can edit Assets.

Step 1.Log in and navigate to User's Profile

  1. Log in to Plumm using a valid Admin account.
  2. Click on the 9-dot menu at the top left corner of your dashboard.
  3. Select Core from the menu.
  4. Under the People section, click on My People.
  5. Click on a user's name, and from there, you can go to the Team/People Profile section.
In the Assets section, click on the three dots on the right-hand side.


Step 2: Edit Assets

    Admin users with the correct permissions can edit Assets.
    • If you have the required permissions, the option to Edit Assets will be visible.
    • If you do not have the necessary permissions, you will only be able to view the information.
    The requested information, such as:
    • Device Type
    • Device Name
    • Serial No.
    • Issued On
    • Returned On
    Will already be filled in.
    Click on Edit Assets to update the profile.
    Update the mandatory fields, including:
    • Device Type
    • Device Name
    • Serial No.
    Once you’ve updated all the required fields, click Save to confirm the changes in the Assets section.
     

    Additional Options

    • You can edit more than one Asset by clicking Edit Assets and updating the relevant details for each item.
    • If you no longer need an asset, you can remove it by clicking the Delete button next to the asset.
