Approve or Decline Team Attendance Requests
Summary
Managers and HR can review, approve, or decline attendance-related requests (such as attendance adjustments, regularisations, or mobile clock-ins) from their team using the Team Attendance → Team Request section. This ensures quick decision-making and accurate attendance records.

Before you begin
- You must have an active Plumm account with manager or HR permissions to access Team Attendance.
- Only users with approval rights can approve or decline requests.
- Approved or declined requests cannot be undone; corrections must go through HR if needed.
Step 1.View team attendance requests
- Go to Time > Team Attendance.
- Select the Team Request tab.
- Review the columns: Requested By, Department, Location, Attendance Date, Request Type, Request Date, Notes, Reason, and Status.
- Status indicators include Pending, Approved, Declined, and Cancelled.
- Click the ⋯ menu next to any request for available actions.
Step 2.Filter attendance requests
- Click the Status filter to view only certain request types (Approved, Cancelled, Declined, Pending).
- (Optional) Use Filter by Reportee to narrow results to a specific team member.
- Click OK to apply the filter or Cancel to exit without changes.
Step 3. Cancel an overtime request
- From the request list, click the ⋯ menu next to the request.
- Select Approve.
- A confirmation pop-up will appear: "Are you sure you want to approve this? This action cannot be undone."
- Click Yes to confirm or No to cancel.
Step 4.Decline an attendance request
- From the request list, click the ⋯ menu and select Decline.
- In the Decline Request pop-up, type the reason for declining.
- Click Submit to confirm or Cancel to discard.
Step 5. Review the attendance request activity log
- From the request list, click the ⋯ menu and choose Activity Log.
- The log will show:
- Requester details (name and request timestamp)
- Request Type (e.g., Attendance Adjustment, Regularisation, Mobile Clock In)
- Notes and Reason provided
- Request status and all message or edit history
- From within the activity log, click the ⋯ menu to Edit or Delete the request (if still pending).
- Use the message field at the bottom to communicate with the requester about changes or clarifications.

2 .Can I reverse an approved request?
No. Once approved or declined, changes must be coordinated with HR.
3. Will employees get notified after my decision?
Yes. Notifications are sent in Plumm and/or by email when a decision is made.
4. Can I edit my own request as a manager?
Yes, if it is still pending. Otherwise, you’ll need HR assistance.5.What if I don’t see the Team Attendance option?
You may not have the required permissions. Contact HR or your system administrator.
