Cancel a 1:1 Meeting

Summary

Plumm allows Superadmin, admin and managers(organiser)  to cancel scheduled 1:1 meetings. Cancelling ensures participants are notified and prevents scheduling conflicts, while keeping records accurate.

Before you begin

  • You must be a registered Plumm employee with access to the 1:1 Meetings module.
  • Only participants of the meeting or managers with appropriate permissions can cancel a 1:1.

Open the Nine-Dot Menu

          1.   From your PlummHR dashboard, locate the nine-dot menu (App Switcher) on the left-hand side.
 
          2.  Click on it to expand and view the list of available modules.
 

Navigate to the Performance Tab

           3.  In the expanded menu, click on the Core tab.
 
            4.  The Core tab contains modules 1-on-1 meetings.
 

Access the 1-on-1 Module

            5.  Inside the Performance tab, locate and click on the 1-on-1 Module

Step 1. Access your 1:1 meeting

  1. Go to Meetings > 1:1s from your dashboard.
  2. Locate the 1:1 meeting you want to cancel.
  3. Click on the meeting to open its details.

Step 2.  Cancel the meeting

  1. Click Cancel Meeting.
  2. Optionally, add a reason or note for cancellation to notify participants.
  3. Confirm your action by clicking Confirm

Step 3. Confirm cancellation

  1. Ensure the meeting now shows a Cancelled status.
  2. All participants will receive notifications of the cancellation.

1. Who can cancel a 1:1 meeting?

Only participants of the 1:1 or managers with permissions can cancel it.
 

2 . Will participants be notified of the cancellation?

Yes, all participants receive notifications via Plumm and email.
 

 

3. Can I reschedule instead of cancelling?

Yes, you can choose to reschedule the 1:1 if the meeting needs to occur at a different time.
 

 

4 . What happens to notes and agenda items after cancellation?

Notes and agenda items remain saved in the system but the meeting is marked as cancelled.
 

 

5 .Can a cancelled 1:1 be reinstated?

Yes, you can duplicate the meeting or reschedule it, but the original cancelled entry remains in the log for records.
 

 

6 . Does cancelling affect recurring 1:1 meetings?

You can cancel a single occurrence or the entire series, depending on the option you select during cancellation.
