Before you begin

Before cancelling a coaching appointment, ensure that:
  • You are logged in to your Plumm account
  • You have an upcoming coaching session scheduled
  • The session start time is more than 24 hours away
Note: Coaching sessions cannot be cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time.

Step 1. Navigate to Coaching sessions

  1. Log in to your Plumm account.
  2. Click on the 9-dot menu at the top-left corner of your dashboard and select Wellbeing.
  3. From the left-side menu, click on the Coaching tab.
  4. The Therapist Upcoming Sessions section will appear, displaying your scheduled coaching sessions and remaining session count.


Step 2. Open appointment actions

  1. Locate the coaching session you want to cancel under Upcoming Sessions.
  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the session.
  3. A list of actions will appear:
    • Join Session
    • Reschedule
    • Cancel

Step 3. Cancel a coaching appointment

  1. From the action menu, click Cancel.
  2. A confirmation pop-up will appear with the message:
  3. “Are you sure you want to cancel this? This action cannot be undone.”

 

Step 4. Confirm cancellation

  1. Choose one of the following options:
    • Yes – Confirms and cancels the session
    • No, I Want To Reschedule – Cancels the action and redirects you to reschedule instead
  2. Once confirmed, the system will process the cancellation immediately.

What happens after cancellation

  • A confirmation message will appear stating “Session cancelled.”
  • You will be given two options:
    • OK, Thanks – Closes the confirmation message
    • Book Again – Takes you to the booking flow to schedule a new coaching session
  • The cancelled session will be removed from your Upcoming Sessions list.
  • Both you and the therapist will receive an email of cancel appointment details.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Can I cancel a coaching session at any time?

No. Coaching sessions cannot be cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time.


2. What happens if I select “No, I Want To Reschedule”?

You will be redirected to reschedule the appointment instead of cancelling it. The original session will remain active until rescheduled.


3. Will I lose my session credit if I cancel?

Session credit handling depends on your organisation’s wellbeing policy. If applicable, cancelled sessions may return the credit for rebooking.



4. Can I book a new session after cancelling?

Yes. After cancellation, click Book Again to schedule a new coaching appointment.
 

 

5. How do I know the session has been cancelled successfully?

You will see an on-screen confirmation message, and the session will no longer appear in your Upcoming Sessions list.
