Candidate Pool
Summary
Candidate Pool is the company-wide candidate list in Hire. It allows you to search and filter candidates, export candidate data, update candidate details, and delete candidates from the system.
Open Candidate Pool from the Hire sidebar.

Before you begin
Hire must be included in your organisation’s contract.
Open Hire from the 9-dot menu.
The control label is:
Apps
You need:
- View Candidate Pool permission to see Candidate Pool in the Hire sidebar.
- Edit Candidate permission to edit a candidate.
- Delete Candidate permission to delete a candidate.
The Add Candidate option is available on this page and appears after the grid loads.
Admin and SuperAdmin users can still see Candidate Pool when the package is not:

Log in to Plumm.
Open the 9-dot menu.
The control label is:

Under PRODUCT SUITE, select Hire.
Select Candidate Pool.
The page title is:
Candidate Pool
The inner menu title is:
Hire
Reading the grid
The Candidate Pool grid displays:
- Name
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Jobs
- Languages
- Skills
- Resume
- Last Activity
If there are no candidates, Plumm displays:
Nothing to show here yet
Name
Displays:
- Candidate photo
- Full Name
Inactive candidates use the deleted-user style.
Jobs
Displays the candidate’s latest job.
If the candidate has more than one job, Plumm displays a:
[+ count]
tag.
Resume
Select Resume to open the candidate file in a new tab.
If the file cannot be opened, Plumm displays:
Can not open file
Opening a candidate
Select any row except Resume.
If the candidate has one job:
- Candidate Overview opens.
If the candidate has more than one job:
- A modal opens with the heading Applied Jobs.
Pagination
Available page sizes are:
- 10
- 50
- 100
- 200
- 500
The default page size is:
10
Row menu
The row menu is available when you have:
- Edit Candidate permission
- Delete Candidate permission
Available actions include:
- Edit
Tooltip: Edit - Delete

Searching and filtering
The Search field placeholder is:

Candidate Pool provides the following filters:
- Stage
- Source
- Jobs
- Work Location
- Last Activity On
Stage filter
Available Stage checkboxes are:
- Sourced
- Screening
- Interview
- Offer
- Contract
- Hired
- On Hold
- Rejected
Each Stage option displays a count.
The count updates when the grid reloads.
You can select multiple Stage filters.
The grid reloads immediately when a Stage checkbox is selected or cleared.
Source, Jobs, and Work Location
These filters use the placeholder:

Each filter includes a clear button.
When opening a dropdown that has not loaded yet, Plumm displays:
Loading...
Last Activity On
Last Activity On filters candidates by a specific date.
The filter uses the selected calendar day in your timezone.

Adding, editing, or deleting candidates
Add Candidate
Select Add Candidate.
Available options are:
- Import Candidates
- Add Single Candidate
Add Single Candidate opens:
Add New Candidate

Edit Candidate
Select Edit from the row menu.
Edit opens the:
Edit Candidate
modal.
After saving successfully, Plumm displays:
Candidate updated successfully

Delete Candidate
Select Delete from the row menu.
The confirmation modal displays:

Message
Are you sure you want to delete this candidate? Please note that this action cannot be undone, and all data related to this candidate will be permanently deleted.
Select:
- Cancel to close without deleting.
- Confirm to delete.
After successful deletion, Plumm displays:
Candidate has been deleted
Bulk delete
Select candidate rows using the checkboxes.
The delete button displays:
- Delete 1 Candidate
- Delete N Candidates
You can select a maximum of:
100 candidates
If you exceed this limit, Plumm displays:
You can select a maximum of 100 candidates.
Bulk delete opens:
Heading
Delete Candidates
Subtitle
Permanently delete selected candidates from the system.
Information
This action is permanent and cannot be reversed.

Downloading or exporting data
Select Export to download candidate data.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Is Candidate Pool the same as a job pipeline?
No. A job pipeline focuses on candidates for one specific job. Candidate Pool lists candidates across jobs. - What does Sourced mean?
The Sourced Stage sends Source to the list. It matches candidates whose latest job status is NEW. - Does Search look at tags?
The export stored procedure matches information including first name, last name, full name, phone, email, tags, skills, languages, about, cover letter, and experience details such as title, summary, or company. The live grid uses a later stored procedure, which should be confirmed in the live product. - Can I edit multiple candidates at once?
No. Bulk edit is not available. Candidate updates are completed individually through the row menu. - Can I delete a candidate without opening their profile?
Yes. Use the Delete option from the Candidate Pool row menu or select multiple candidates for bulk delete.
