Company Goals Table Overview
The Company Goals Table is where you will manage all company-wide goals. This table provides an overview of each goal, including key information such as:
- Goal Title: The name or description of the goal.
- Progress: A progress bar that visually indicates the completion percentage of the goal.
- Create Date: The date the goal was created.
- Due Date: The deadline for completing the goal.
- Status: The current status of the goal (e.g., To Start, In Progress, Completed).
This table allows you to view all company goals and monitor their progress in real-time.
Using the Search Function
- Search Bar Location: The Search bar is located at the top of the Company Goals page, above the goal table.
- Searching Goals: Type in keywords such as the goal title, team member name, or other relevant details to search for specific goals.
- Filtered Results: Once you type in a keyword, the table will display only the goals matching your search, helping you find relevant information quickly
Exporting Goal Data
- Download Icon: The Download icon (represented by a down arrow) is located next to the search bar.
- Export Process: Clicking the Download icon will export all displayed goal data into an Excel or CSV file. This file includes details like goal title, progress, due dates, and assigned departments.
- Purpose: This feature is ideal for offline use, reporting, or sharing company goal information with stakeholders.
Tracking Overall Progress
- Overall Progress Indicator: At the top of the Company Goals page, you will see the Overall Progress percentage.
- What It Shows: This shows the average progress of all company goals. For example, if the average completion percentage of all goals is 70%, it will be displayed as 70% Overall Progress.
- Real-Time Updates: As goals are updated, the Overall Progress indicator automatically adjusts to reflect the current average status of all goals.
Viewing Total Goals
- Total Goals Count: At the top of the Company Goals page, you can also see the Total Goals statistic.
- What It Shows: This number represents the total number of goals currently listed within the company.
- Purpose: It gives managers a quick overview of how many goals are being tracked across the organization.
Using the Year Dropdown
- Year Dropdown Location: The Year Dropdown is located at the top-right corner of the Company Goals page.
- Selecting a Year: By default, the dropdown will show the current year. Click the dropdown to view and select previous or future years (e.g., 2023, 2024, 2025, etc.).
- Filtering Goals by Year: When a year is selected, the goals shown in the table will be filtered to display only those for the selected year. This allows you to view goals for different time periods, making it easy to track goals from previous or future years.
How to Create a Company Goal
- Click Add Goal: To create a new company goal, click the + Add Goal button located at the top-right corner of the Company Goals page.
- Goal Creation Form:
- Goal Title: Enter a clear and descriptive name for the company goal.
- Description: Add an optional description outlining the goal's purpose, key focus areas, and desired outcomes.
- Due Date: Set a deadline for the goal’s completion.
- Assign the Goal:
- Owner: Assign an owner for the goal, typically a manager or team leader.
- Assigned Department/Team: Choose the department or team responsible for achieving the goal.
- Click Save: After filling in the details, click Save to create the goal. The new goal will now appear in the Company Goals table.
