Before you begin

You must have an active Payroll add-on to access and use Payroll features.

You need Company Money access and View Company Benefit to open the Benefits tab.

The following Payroll permissions apply on the Allowance page:

  • View User Benefit — allows you to view an assignment.
  • Add User Benefit — allows you to add an allowance when the person’s Status is Not Included.
  • Edit/Update User Benefit — allows you to update an allowance when the Status is not Not Included.
  • Delete User Benefit — allows you to delete an allowance when the Status is not Not Included.
  • Allowance Activity Logs — allows you to open Action → Activity Log.

Create the allowance scheme first under Admin → Benefits.

People must already appear on the Allowance list before you can assign an allowance to them.

The page heading uses the benefit name rather than the word Allowance.
