Company Recurring
Summary
The Recurring page is the Company Money drill-down for a recurring benefit that is not Pension or Vehicles. Use it to add people with employer and employee contributions, view or update those amounts, delete assignments, export the list, and review the Activity Log.

Before you begin
You must have an active Payroll add-on to access and use Payroll features.
You need Company Money access and View Company Benefit to open the Benefits tab.
The following Payroll permissions apply on the Recurring page:
- Add User Benefit — allows you to add a person when Status is Not Included.
- View User Benefit — allows you to view an assignment when Status is Member.
- Edit/Update User Benefit — allows you to update an assignment when Status is Member.
- Delete User Benefit — allows you to delete an assignment when Status is Member.
- Recurring Activity Logs — allows you to open Action → Activity Log.
Create the recurring scheme first under Admin → Benefits.
Set the Employee Contribution and Employer Contribution limits on the Admin General tab. These limits are used when you add or update a person on this page.
The page heading uses the benefit name.
Opening Recurring
- Log in to Plumm.
- Open the 9-dot menu.
- Under Money, select Company Money.
- Select an Active location.
- Select the Benefits tab.
- Select a Recurring card that is not Pension or Vehicles.
Read the list
Use Search to find a person. The placeholder is Search.
Header filters are available.
If there are no records, Plumm shows Nothing to show here yet.
Available page sizes are:
- 10
- 50
- 100
- 200
- 500
The list contains the following information.
Name
Shows the person’s name and profile image.
Employer Contribution
Shows the employer contribution amount on the assignment.
Employee Contribution
Shows the employee contribution amount on the assignment.
Status
A person can have one of the following statuses:
- Not Included — shown with a yellow tag. The person does not have a recurring benefit assignment. Use Add if you have Add User Benefit permission.
- Member — shown with a green tag. The person has been assigned the recurring benefit. Depending on your permissions, you can View, Update, or Delete the assignment.
Selecting a row opens Add when Status is Not Included or View when Status is Member, provided the relevant action is available to you.
Adding a user
On a person with Status Not Included, open the three-dot menu and select Add.
The sidebar heading is the benefit name. The footer button is Add User.
Employee
Read-only. This shows the person you selected.
Date
Required.
Use the date picker to select the effective date. The format is dd/mm/yy and the placeholder is Select Date.
If left empty, Plumm shows Required field.
Employer Contribution
Required. The placeholder is Employer Contribution.
Validation messages include:
- Required field — when the value is empty.
- Please enter a valid number — when the value is not a number.
- Value must be positive — when a negative value is entered.
- Cannot exceed limit of [limit] — when the value is higher than the Employer Contribution limit configured under Admin Benefits.
Employee Contribution
Required. The placeholder is Employee Contribution.
The same validation applies, using the Employee Contribution limit configured under Admin Benefits.
Select Add User.
The success toast uses the message returned by the server. A typical success message is Benefits recurring updated.
Error messages can include:
- Error occured, please refresh and try again.
- Error occurred, please try again later.
After the assignment is successfully added, Status becomes Member.
Viewing an assignment
On a Member row, open the three-dot menu and select View.
The sidebar heading is the benefit name.
It shows:
- Employee
- Effective date
- Type — the benefit type stored on the record, for example Recurring
- Employer Contribution
- Employee Contribution
- Last updated by
- Created by
Reject and Approve are not shown on this screen.
Updating an assignment
On a Member row, open the three-dot menu and select Update.
The same sidebar used to add a person opens. The footer button is Update.
Date
Disabled and cannot be changed.
Employer Contribution
You can change the employer contribution. The same validation and Admin contribution limit used when adding a person apply.
Employee Contribution
You can change the employee contribution. The same validation and Admin contribution limit used when adding a person apply.
Select Update.
The success toast uses the message returned by the server. A typical success message is Benefits recurring updated.
Deleting an assignment
On a Member row, open the three-dot menu and select Delete.
The modal heading is Delete recurring?
Plumm shows:
Are you sure you want to delete this?
Select Cancel to leave without deleting, or Confirm to continue.
The success toast uses the message returned by the server. A typical success message is Recurring deleted successfully.
Opening Activity Log
You need Recurring Activity Logs permission.
Select Action, then Activity Log.
The modal heading is Activity Log.
Entries are grouped by date. Each entry shows a time and description.
If there are no entries, Plumm shows Nothing to show here yet.
Select Cancel to close the Activity Log.
Exporting
Use the grid export control to download the Recurring list.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- What does Add User mean?
Add User is the footer button on the sidebar when assigning a recurring benefit. The action on the person’s row is labelled Add. - Why does Add fail with a limit message?
The General tab under Admin → Benefits stores the Employee Contribution and Employer Contribution limits. A contribution cannot be higher than its configured limit. - Can I approve or reject from this page?
No. Reject and Approve are not shown on the current View sidebar. Do not use the Company Money Recurring page for approval. - Can I change the date after adding a user?
No. Date is disabled when you update an existing assignment. You can update the Employer Contribution and Employee Contribution amounts. - Where do I create the recurring scheme?
Create the scheme under Admin → Benefits. Use Type Recurring with a category that is not Pension or Vehicles.
