Before you begin
You must be a System Administrator in Plumm to configure this integration.
Ensure you have the following details ready:
- Access to your AD Manager Plus instance
- API Endpoint URL
- AuthToken (from AD Manager Plus)
- Domain Name used for user operations
Step 1. Open AD Manager Plus integration settings
- Navigate to Company Apps from the main Plumm dashboard.
- Select the Store tab.
- Scroll to the Productivity section.
- Click AD Manager Plus.
- Click Update (top-right corner).
Step 2. Choose connection type
Select how users are identified between Plumm and AD Manager Plus:
- Email ID
- Employee ID
Only one connection type can be active at a time. You can change it later from settings.
Step 3. Enter integration details
API Endpoint:
Enter your AD Manager Plus API URL (available under API in AD Manager Plus or from your IT team).
AuthToken:
- Log in to AD Manager Plus.
- Go to My Account → Active Authtokens.
- Click Generate New Token, then specify:
- Technician
- Token Name
- Scope
- Expiry Time
- Copy the generated token and paste it into Plumm.
Domain Name:
Specify the AD domain name used for account operations.

Once connected, the following operations can be performed directly within Plumm and synced with AD Manager Plus:
1. Create Employee
Add a new employee profile by providing the following:
- Employee ID
- First & Last Name
- Company
- Job Title
- Department
- Manager
- Mobile
- Address (Street, City, Postal Code, Country Code)
2. Update Employee Profile
Modify existing employee details such as title, department, or contact info.
If the employee does not exist in the system, the update will not occur.
3. Delete Employee
Mark an employee as deleted. The record is preserved for audit but deactivated in both systems.
4. Enable Employee
Reinstate a previously disabled employee from the Leavers tab.
This restores access to both Plumm and AD Manager Plus.
5. Disable Employee
Offboard a user by disabling their access.
The employee will no longer be able to log in or use any platform features.
Step 5. Save and Confirm Connection
After entering all integration details and selecting the connection type:
- Click Save.
- Once validated, the status will change to Connected.
- Plumm will automatically start syncing employee operations to AD Manager Plus.
