Before you begin

Only Plumm system administrators can set up this integration.
You’ll need:
  • A Google Workspace admin account
  • Official email ID for the Workspace domain

Step 1. Open Google Workspace integration settings

  1. Go to Company Apps in your Plumm dashboard
  2. Click the Store tab
  3. Find Google Workspace under Productivity
  4. Click on Google Workspace

Step 2. Sign in with your admin account

  1. In the Google Workspace integration screen, click Sign in with Google
  2. Log in using your organisation’s admin account (not a personal or user account)
  3. Authorise Plumm to access your Workspace for user management
Note: Only admin accounts can complete this setup.

Step 3. Confirm connection

  1. Once signed in, Plumm will confirm the connection
  2. The app status will display as Connected under the integration tile
  3. You’re now ready to automate onboarding and offboarding with Google Workspace

1. What does this integration do?

 It syncs onboarding and offboarding events in Plumm with your Google Workspace account, automatically adding or removing users.
 
 

2. Do I need to manually add users to Google Workspace after setup?

 No. Once connected, Plumm handles account creation and removal automatically.

 
 3. Can I disconnect the integration later?

Yes. Go back to the integration screen and click Disconnect at any time.

 

4. Can I use a non-admin Google account to connect?

 No. Only a Google Workspace admin account can be used for integration setup.
 


5. Is data synced in real-time?

Yes. Changes made in Plumm (onboarding/offboarding) are reflected in Workspace immediately.
