Before you begin

To connect Productive with Plumm, you must:
  • Be a system administrator in Plumm
  • Have your Company ID and API Key from Productive
  • (Optional) Understand whether to enable "Create Policy" during setup

Step 1. Open Productive integration settings

  1. Go to Company Apps in the Plumm dashboard
  2. Select the Store tab
  3. Click on Productive under the Productivity category
  4. Click Update in the top-right corner of the app screen

Step 2. Enter integration details

    1. In the Productive Integration panel, enter your:
      • Company ID
      • API Key (provided by Productive)
    2. (Optional) Tick the Create Policy? checkbox if you'd like Plumm to automatically generate new time-off policies in Productive

    Step 3. Save and activate the connection

    1. Click Save
    2. Once connected, the integration will automatically sync approved leave from Plumm into Productive
    3. The app status will display as Connected

    1. What does this integration sync?

     It automatically sends approved time-off entries from Plumm to Productive so they reflect in project timelines and availability reports.
     
     

    2. What is the “Create Policy” option for?

     If enabled, Plumm can create leave types in Productive that match those in your Plumm account—ideal for first-time setups.

     

    3. Can I disconnect the integration later?

     Yes. You can return to the integration settings and click Disconnect at any time.

     

    4. Do I need to update leave in both systems?

     No. Once connected, you only need to approve leave in Plumm—it will sync automatically to Productive.
     


    5. Is real-time syncing supported?

    Yes. Time-off approvals are pushed to Productive in real-time, reducing scheduling conflicts.
