Create a Post on the Feed
Summary
Users can share updates with their team using the Feed widget. Posts can include text, media, attachments, and can be targeted to specific departments. Feed access and usage are fully permission-based.

Before you begin
- The Feed widget must be enabled by the Super Admin
- You must have permission to create and post on the Feed
- Maximum one attachment per post (up to 5MB)
Step 1. Open the Feed
- Go to your User Dashboard
- Scroll to the Feed widget
- Click into the Post tab
- A side panel titled Create New Post will open
Step 2.Create and customise your post
- Select your audience from the dropdown (choose department name)
- Type your message in the post box (formatting options available)
- Use the “@” symbol to tag teammates in the post
- (Optional) Click Add image or video or Add Document
- Only one attachment is allowed
- File size must not exceed 5MB
Step 3. Share your post
- Review your content and audience
- Click Publish
- The post will now appear in the Feed for the selected audience
- All selected department members will also receive an email notification

1. Who can see my post?
Only users in the department selected under the audience dropdown will see the post.
2 .Can I post without selecting an audience?
No, audience selection is required to publish a post.
3. How many files can I upload to a post?
Only one file (image, video or document) can be uploaded per post, and it must be 5MB or less.
4. Can I edit or delete my post after it’s shared?
If you have the required permission, you may be able to edit or delete your own post.
5. Will tagged users get notified?
Yes, tagged users will receive both an in-app and email notification if they belong to the selected audience.
