Before you begin
- The job creator must have the necessary permissions to edit the job settings
- Templates can be created and edited by an Admin
- You can either use the default "Job Confirmation" template or choose a custom template
Step 1. Select a Confirmation Email Template
- Go to Hire > Jobs
- Choose the job you want to edit
- In the Application section, find the Confirmation Email option
- From the dropdown list, select the email template you want to use (e.g., “Job Confirmation” or a custom template)
- If you wish to use a custom template, select it from the list of available templates
Step 2. Preview the Email Template
- After selecting a template, click the Preview button
- The preview window will show how the email will appear to candidates, including any dynamic parameters like {Candidate Name}
- Review the email content and ensure it is correct and personalised
Step 3. Disable the Confirmation Email (if needed)
- If you do not want to send a confirmation email to candidates, toggle the Send Confirmation Email option off
- This will prevent the system from sending the email when candidates apply
