Customise Job Application Confirmation Emails

When a candidate applies for a job, they receive a confirmation email. Job creators can customise this email by selecting from a list of templates or using the default "Job Confirmation" template. The email can also be turned off if needed.

Before you begin

  • The job creator must have the necessary permissions to edit the job settings
  • Templates can be created and edited by an Admin
  • You can either use the default "Job Confirmation" template or choose a custom template

Step 1.  Select a Confirmation Email Template

  1. Go to Hire > Jobs
  2. Choose the job you want to edit
  3. In the Application section, find the Confirmation Email option
  4. From the dropdown list, select the email template you want to use (e.g., “Job Confirmation” or a custom template)
  5. If you wish to use a custom template, select it from the list of available templates

Step 2.  Preview the Email Template

  1. After selecting a template, click the Preview button
  2. The preview window will show how the email will appear to candidates, including any dynamic parameters like {Candidate Name}
  3. Review the email content and ensure it is correct and personalised

Step 3. Disable the Confirmation Email (if needed)

  1. If you do not want to send a confirmation email to candidates, toggle the Send Confirmation Email option off
  2. This will prevent the system from sending the email when candidates apply

1. How can I customise the confirmation email sent to candidates?

You can customise the confirmation email by selecting a template from the list of available templates in the Application. You can also create your own template through the Admin > Templates section.


2. Can I use a custom template for the confirmation email?

Yes, you can use any custom template added by the admin, or you can select the default "Job Confirmation" template.

3. Can I preview the confirmation email before it is sent?

Yes, after selecting your template, click the Preview button to see how the email will appear to the candidate.


4. Can I turn off the confirmation email?
