Customise My Leave Balance Widget
Summary
Super admins can customise the My Leave Balance widget to show detailed balances for a specific leave policy. This lets users easily view their current balance, days taken, admin adjustments, and carryover.

Before you begin
Only Super Admins can customise widgets on user dashboards.
The widget excludes policies tracked in hours only day-based leave policies are supported.
Step 1. Access the widget settings
- Go to your dashboard (Home > User Dashboard).
- Click the Customise button in the dashboard banner.
- Scroll to My Leave Balance in the widget list.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the widget.
- Select Customise.
Step 2. Select a leave policy
- In the “Customise Leave Balance” pop-up, use the dropdown to select a leave policy (e.g. Annual Leave, Sick Leave).
- Click Save.
Users will now see a breakdown of the selected policy, including:
- Current Balance
- Admin Adjustments
- Days Taken
- Carry Over

1. What leave types are shown in this widget?
Only day-based leave policies are supported. Leave policies tracked in hours will not appear.2 .Can users switch leave policies in this widget?
No. Only Super Admins can change which policy appears for all users with this widget.
3. Will this affect users' ability to request leave?
No. This widget only displays leave balance and history. Requesting time off is done through the Time Off widget.
4. Is the balance updated automatically?
Yes. The widget pulls real-time data from the selected leave policy, including any adjustments or carryovers.
