Before you begin

This feature is only available to:
  • Admins
  • Users with eSign template permissions


Step 1. Access the eSign template workspace

To create a new template:
  1. Log in to Plumm Admin Panel
  2. Go to Admin > eSign
  3. Click Add Template
  4. Upload your document and name your template
  5. Click Set Template to open the editor
To edit an existing template:
  1. Go to Admin > eSign
  2. Click the action button next to a template
  3. Select Edit

Step 2. Add Placeholder fields to the template

  1. From the right-hand panel, drag and drop Placeholder fields into the document
  2. Available Placeholder types include with:
    • Text
    • Date
    • Number
    • Checkbox
    • Select (dropdown)
  3. Place each field where you want the signer to provide information


Step 3. Customise Placeholder field settings

  1. Click the settings icon next to the Placeholder label
  2. In the settings panel, you can:
    • Enable read-only: When switched on, the signer must fill in the field
    • Set signing date: For Date fields, the signer must complete this with the date when signing
    • Adjust font: Change the font type, size, colour, and apply bold, italic, or alignment
