Customise Useful Links Widget for Users

Changing the page background colour allows you to customise the overall appearance of your career site. This is a useful way to match the background to your brand colours, enhance readability, and create a visually appealing site layout.

Before you begin
- You must be a Super Admin to customise the User Dashboard
- Links must begin with a valid URL (e.g. https://...)
- You can add up to five links
Step 1. Access the widget settings
- Go to Home > User Dashboard
- Click the Customise button in the dashboard banner
- Scroll to the bottom and find the Useful Links widget
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to it
- Select Edit
Step 2. Add or edit links
- Add a short description for the widget
- In the “Name” field, enter the name of the link (e.g. Leave Policy)
- In the “URL” field, paste the full web address
- Click + Add Item to include additional links (up to 5 total)
- Click Save Changes
- Then, click Preview and Save. The widget will now be visible to all users with active dashboards. Clicking a link opens the page in a new tab.

1. Who can edit the Useful Links widget?
Only Super Admins have permission to add or modify links in this widget.2 .How many links can I add?
You can add up to five links. If you need to add more, consider linking to a page that hosts additional resources.
3. Can I include internal or external links?
Yes. You can add both internal Plumm links or external URLs (e.g. Google Drive, HR portals, company policy docs).
4. Will users be notified when links are added or changed?
No. The widget updates silently. Users will see the changes on their dashboard immediately after saving.
5. Can different users see different links?
No. The same set of links appears for all users on the User Dashboard.
