Customise Useful Links Widget – Team Dashboard
Summary
Super admins can add up to five useful links for managers and admins to access directly from the Team Dashboard. This widget helps teams quickly find key resources relevant to managing their team or processes.

Before you begin
- Only Super Admins can customise the Team Dashboard
- The Useful Links widget will be visible only to Admins and Managers
- You can add up to five links
- Links must begin with a valid URL (e.g. https://...)
Step 1. Access the Team Dashboard settings
- Go to Home > Team Dashboard
- Click the Customise button in the dashboard banner
- Scroll to the Useful Links widget (bottom of the widget list)
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮)
- Select Edit
Step 2. Add or edit links
- (Optional) Add a description for the widget (e.g. “Team resources and HR guides”)
- Enter the Name of the link (e.g. Team Leave Policy)
- Enter the URL
- Click + Add Item to include more links (up to 5 in total)
- Click Save Changes
- Finally, click Preview and Save at the bottom of the dashboard customisation panel
Once saved, the widget will appear on the Team Dashboard for all users with Admin or Manager roles.

1. Who can see the Useful Links on the Team Dashboard?
Only users with Admin or Manager roles can see the links on their Team Dashboard.2 .Can I add links specific to a department or team?
The widget is shared across all Team Dashboards, so links should be general enough to apply to all teams.
3. Will the links open in a new tab?
Yes. Clicking any link in the widget will automatically open it in a new browser tab.
4. Can each manager customise their own Useful Links?
No. Only Super Admins can edit or update the links. All admins and managers will see the same set.
5. Can we use this widget to link to internal systems?
Yes. You can link to internal HR tools, team SOPs, training resources, or performance guidelines.
