December 2025 Release Notes
Reporting Enhancements
Advanced Report Filters
Reports can now be filtered using multiple custom fields, giving you more control over how data is extracted, grouped, and analysed. Whether you’re running headcount summaries, leave balances, or policy utilisation, advanced filters make reporting significantly more flexible and insightful.
New Report Templates
- Timesheet Report – A detailed report that includes clock-in/out times, total hours worked, exceptions, and compliance with shift schedules.
- Headcount Per Department – Provides a clear view of employee distribution by department, helping track growth, movement, and structural changes over time.
- Policy Balance Page – Filter Additions – You can now filter policy balances by department, role, location, and more, enabling granular analysis of leave entitlements and usage.
Exclude External Workforce from Reports
A new admin-level setting allows reports to exclude external or contractor workforce data, so internal headcount and analytics reflect permanent employees only.
Rota & Shift Management
Rota Shift Time Gap Warning (UK Compliance)
The platform now checks for minimum rest periods between consecutive shifts.
- If a rota violates this rule, the system issues a warning during scheduling.
- Admins can customise this threshold to meet organisational or regional standards.
4 week & 8 Week Working Schedule Support
Support for rolling shift patterns like 4ON-4OFF or Monthly shift pattern has been introduced, with full alignment across:
- Time Off – Leave entitlements and usage reflect alternating working/rest days
- Attendance – Accurately tracks hours in complex shift cycles
- Timesheet – Maps logged time against scheduled shifts
- Rota – Easily configure 4- or 8-week cycles with repeat logic
Attendance & Timesheets
Kiosk Clock In / Clock Out – Seamless Attendance for Shared Workspaces
We’ve introduced a new Kiosk Mode for Attendance, allowing users to clock in and clock out using shared devices such as tablets or terminals.
This is ideal for workplaces where:
- Teams work in shifts or on-site locations like factories, warehouses, retail outlets, or healthcare facilities
- Quick, centralised check-in/out is preferred for operational efficiency
Key Features:
Secure Access via PIN
- Users can securely clock in/out using a personal PIN to prevent buddy punching and ensure accurate tracking.
Real-Time Sync with Attendance Module
- All clock-in/out entries are recorded instantly and synced with the user's attendance record in the platform.
Timesheet Reports
- Generate comprehensive reports on time entries with breakdowns by user, project, shift, and compliance — useful for audits, billing, and performance tracking.
Time Off Enhancements
Show/Hide Allowance Setting
- Admins now have the option to hide leave balances (allowance) from employees. This is useful in scenarios where allowances are dynamically calculated or discretion-based.
Non-Blocking Calendar Events for Time Off
- New policy setting allows certain time off types (e.g. WFH, medical visits) to be recorded without blocking the calendar, supporting hybrid and flexible work scenarios.
Admin Controls: Delete, Cancel, Amend Leave
Admins now have expanded control to:
- Cancel or delete leave directly from the leave calendar
- Amend or reschedule existing requests
- Cancel leave when users move to a different policy, avoiding overlap or inconsistencies
1-on-1 Enhancements
Adding Historical 1-on-1s on Platform
- Users can now add past 1-on-1 records, making it easier to review discussion history and action items across time.
Users Can Now Schedule 1-on-1s
- Previously limited to managers, the ability to initiate and schedule 1-on-1s is now open to all users. Employees can now book time with managers or peers, encouraging open communication and self-initiated performance check-ins.
Value List Management – Centralised Dropdown Control for Admins
We’ve introduced a new “Value List” section under Admin > Settings > General Settings, giving Admins the ability to manage dropdown options used across the platform, all from one place.
What this means:
-
All dropdown fields that rely on editable value sets (e.g. departments, job title, reasons for exit, rejection reasons, etc.) are now centralised under the Value List page.
-
Admins can add, edit, or remove values
-
The updated values will automatically reflect in all relevant modules and forms where the dropdown is used.
Hire Module Enhancements
Custom Interviewer Emails
- Admins can now configure custom email templates for interviewer invites, tailored with instructions, tone, and branding.
Custom Rejection Reasons
- Create and manage a custom set of rejection reasons that reflect your organisation’s hiring process — helping with consistent communication and tracking.
Survey Automation
Event-Based Survey Scheduling
- Surveys can now be triggered based on specific HR events such as onboarding, Start date, Probation, etc; enabling smarter, more contextual employee feedback.
Kudos Dashboard Widget
A brand-new widget is now available on the Dashboard showing the top Kudos recipients.
- Encourages peer recognition
- Highlights appreciation across teams
- Boosts culture and engagement visibility
