Before you begin
To delete an email template, you must have administrative access or the necessary permissions to manage templates. If you do not have the required permissions, please contact your system administrator or HR team.Delete an Email Template
- Navigate to the Templates section within the Admin dashboard.
- Click on the Email tab to view your list of email templates.
- Browse the list and locate the template you wish to delete.
- Click on the three-dot menu (also referred to as the Options menu) next to the relevant template.
- Select Delete from the dropdown menu.
- A confirmation prompt will appear to ensure you wish to permanently delete the template.
- Click Confirm to proceed with the permanent deletion.
Note: Once deleted, a template cannot be recovered. Please ensure the template is not in use or required for any ongoing communications before deleting it.

1. Can I delete an email template if I do not have admin access?
No, only users with administrative access or the appropriate permissions can delete email templates. If you are unable to delete templates, please contact your system administrator or HR team.
2.What happens if I delete an email template that is in use?
If the template is currently used in active processes within the Hire or eSign modules, deleting it will prevent it from being used in future. Emails already sent using the template will remain unaffected.
3.Can I recover a deleted email template?
No, once a template is deleted, it cannot be recovered. If a template is deleted by mistake, it will need to be recreated from scratch or restored from a backup if one is available.
4.Is there a warning before deleting a template
Yes, you will receive a confirmation prompt before a template is permanently deleted, giving you a chance to reconsider.
5.Can I delete multiple email templates at onc
No, templates must be deleted individually. You will need to repeat the deletion process for each template you wish to remove.
