Before you begin

  • You must have administrative access to the Attendance section to delete Geo Fencing IP addresses.
  • Ensure that the IP address you are deleting is no longer required for your network configuration.

Step 1. Delete an IP address

  1. Navigate to Admin > Attendance and select the Geo Fencing tab.
  2. Ensure the Web tab is selected.
  3. Locate the IP address you want to delete.
  4. Click on the three dots (ellipsis) next to the IP address entry and select Delete.
  5. A confirmation pop-up will appear, asking if you are sure you want to delete the IP address.
    • If you decide to cancel the deletion, click Cancel.
    • If you want to proceed with the deletion, click Confirm.
  6. Once confirmed, the IP address will be permanently deleted from the system.

1. What happens if I click Cancel during the confirmation step?

If you click Cancel, the IP address will remain in the system, and no changes will be made.
 

2 .Can I recover an IP address once it is deleted?

No, once an IP address is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Ensure you are sure before confirming the deletion.

3.Can I delete multiple IP addresses at once?

Currently, you can only delete one IP address at a time. You will need to repeat the process for each IP address you want to delete.
 

 

4.What happens if the IP address I want to delete is in use?

If an IP address is in use for Geo Fencing, it will no longer be available for employee clock ins once deleted. Make sure to reconfigure your Geo Fencing settings as needed.
