Before you begin

  • You must have administrative access to the Attendance section to delete locations for Geo Fencing.
  • Ensure that the location you want to delete is no longer needed before proceeding with deletion.

Step 1: Delete a location for Geo Fencing

  1. Navigate to Admin > Attendance and select the Geo Fencing tab.
  2. Click on the Mobile tab to view mobile-specific Geo Fencing settings.
  3. Click on the three dots (ellipsis) next to the location you wish to delete.
  4. From the dropdown menu, click Delete.
  5. A confirmation pop-up will appear, asking if you are sure you want to delete the location.
    • If you decide to cancel the deletion, click Cancel.
    • If you want to proceed with the deletion, click Confirm.
  6. Once confirmed, the location will be permanently deleted from the system.

1. What happens if I click Cancel during the confirmation step?

If you click Cancel, the location will not be deleted, and no changes will occur.

2 . Can I recover a deleted location?

No, once a location is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Be sure before confirming the deletion.

Currently, you can only delete one location at a time. You will need to repeat the process for each location you wish to delete.


 

4.What happens if the location I want to delete is still in use?

Once deleted, the location will no longer be available for employee clock-ins. Ensure to reassign or remove any dependencies before deletion.
