Delete Penalisation Policy

Summary

Delete Penalisation Policy permanently removes a penalisation policy from Admin > Attendance > Penalisation. Use this when the policy should no longer apply to its reviewees.

Once confirmed, the deletion cannot be undone.

Before you begin

Attendance must be included in your organisation’s Plumm contract, and the Attendance add-on must be active.

You need the Delete Penalisation Policy permission or SuperAdmin access to delete a penalisation policy.

Using Delete Penalisation Policy

Penalisation policies appear as cards on the Penalisation tab.

Each policy card can include the following actions in the three-dot menu (⋮) when permitted:

  • Edit
  • Configure
  • Delete

Use Delete only when the penalisation policy is no longer required.

Navigate to Admin Attendance

Go to Admin > Attendance > Penalisation.

The page title is Attendance.

Open the delete confirmation

Open the three-dot menu (⋮) > Delete on the penalisation policy you want to remove.

The Delete Penalisation confirmation opens.

Plumm displays:

Are you sure you want to delete this? This action cannot be undone.

The available options are:

  • Cancel – closes the confirmation without deleting the policy.
  • Confirm – permanently deletes the policy.

Confirm deletion

Select Confirm to delete the penalisation policy.

After successful deletion, Plumm displays:

Penalisation deleted

If the deletion fails, Plumm may display:

Unable to delete the penalisation.

After you delete

The Penalisation tab refreshes and the deleted policy is removed from the list.

If there are no penalisation policies remaining, Plumm displays:

Nothing to show here yet.
