Deleting a Section in the Custom Field

Summary

Plumm allows you to delete sections in the Personal, Work, and Money tabs under the Custom Field section in the Settings. Once deleted, the section and its fields will no longer appear on the Profile page.

Before you begin

To delete a section in the Custom Field settings, you must first log in with a valid Plumm account. Ensure you have the necessary permissions to access the Settings tab and the Custom Field section.


Steps to Delete a Section:

  1. Login:
    • Ensure you are logged into your Plumm account.
  2. Navigate to Settings:
    • From your dashboard, go to the Settings tab.
  3. Open General Settings:
    • Click on the General Settings tab.
  4. Select Custom Field:
    • In the General Settings, click on Custom Field.


 

Custom Field Section:

In the Custom Field section, you will find three tabs:
  • Personal
  • Work
  • Money
You can select any of these tabs to delete a section. Once deleted, the section will no longer appear on the Profile page.


Delete a Section:

  1. Click on the three dots next to the section name in the desired tab (e.g., Personal).
  2. Select the Delete option.
  3. A confirmation popup will appear:
  4. "Are you sure you want to delete this section? This action cannot be undone."
    • Click Confirm to delete the section from the Settings page.
    • Click Cancel to keep the section unchanged.


After Deletion:

  • The section and all its fields will be removed from the Settings page.
  • The deleted section will no longer be visible on the Profile page.

1. Can I recover a section after deleting it?

No, deletion is permanent. Once confirmed, the section and all its fields are removed and cannot be recovered.


2 . Do deleted sections appear on the Profile page?

No, deleted sections are immediately removed from the Profile page.


3. Can I delete multiple sections at once?

No, sections must be deleted individually by clicking the three dots and confirming the deletion for each section.
 

 

4. What if I accidentally click Delete?

You can click Cancel in the confirmation popup to prevent deletion.


 

5. Who can delete a section?

Only users with the appropriate permissions in the Settings section can delete custom field sections.
 


6. What if I don’t see the Custom Field section?

If the Custom Field section is not visible, contact your system administrator or HR team for access permissions.
