Before you begin

  • My People permissions control what users a manager can see in the Leavers section.
  • If the manager has My People permissions, they will only be able to view users in the Leavers section who reported directly to them.
  • The manager cannot see other indirect reportees in the Leavers section, even if they have the necessary permissions to view indirect reports on the My People tab.

Step 1: Viewing Leavers Who Reported Directly

  1. With My People Permissions:
    • When the manager has My People permissions, they will be able to see only those employees in the Leavers section who directly reported to them before leaving the organization.
  2. Leavers Section View:
    • The Leavers section will display a list of users who have left the organization, but only the ones who were directly managed by the logged-in manager.
    • The manager will not be able to see users who were indirect reportees in the Leavers section, even if they fall under their extended reporting hierarchy.

Step 2: What Happens Without My People Permissions

  1. Without My People Permissions:
    • If the manager does not have My People permissions, they will not be able to see the Leavers section at all.
    • The Leavers tab will be unavailable to the manager without the appropriate access permissions.

1. Can I see all users in the Leavers section if I have My People permissions?

 No, you will only see users who directly reported to you before they left. Users who reported indirectly will not appear in your view.
