Edit a Scheduled Task in Task Scheduling

The Edit Task Scheduling option allows you to modify a specific task’s details. However, tasks that are scheduled with the "Send Now" type cannot be edited, as they have already been sent to the users.

Before you begin
To edit a scheduled task, you must have the Task Scheduling permission, which is available under the Admin section.Step 1. Access the Task Scheduling Grid
- Go to Admin > Task Scheduling
- On the grid, view all scheduled tasks, including their details such as task type, title, and status.
Step 2. Edit a scheduled task
- Find the task you want to edit
- Click the action icon (three dots) next to the task
- Select Edit from the dropdown menu
- Update the task details as required, such as:
- Task Title
- Task Description
- Task Type
- Owner Name
- Schedule Date and Time
- After making the necessary changes, click Save to apply the updates
Note: If the task is scheduled with the Send Now type, you will not be able to edit the task because it has already been sent to the users.

1. Can I edit any task in Task Scheduling?
You can edit tasks that are not scheduled with the "Send Now" type. Tasks already sent cannot be edited.
2 . What happens if I try to edit a "Send Now" task?
If a task has been scheduled with the "Send Now" type, you won’t be able to make any changes to it, as the task has already been sent to the users.
3. Why can’t I edit my task?
Ensure that the task you are trying to edit is not set to "Send Now." If it is, the task is locked from edits after it is dispatched.
