Before you begin

  • To edit an eSign template, you must have the Admin role with access to the eSign module.
  • The template must already be created and visible in the Templates section.

Step 1. Access the eSign Template

  1. Navigate to the Admin section in the left-hand menu of Plumm.
  2. Select eSign from the options listed.
  3. Under the Templates tab, locate the template you wish to edit.

Step 2. Edit the Template

  1. Click the Action button (represented by three dots) next to the template you want to edit.
  2. From the dropdown menu, select the Edit option.
  3. The template will open in edit mode, where you can make changes to the title, roles, sign order, or placeholders.
  4. You can also update the PDF document if needed by uploading a new file.

Step 3. Save Changes

  1. After making the necessary edits, click Save to apply the changes to your template.
  2. The updated template will now be ready to use or send out for signing.

1. Can I edit a template after it’s been created?

Yes, you can edit a template by selecting it and choosing the Edit option under the Action menu.

No, you need to click Save to finalise the changes after editing the template.
